chiropractic or osteopathic manipulation
The use of chiropractic or osteopathic manipulation has remained stable since 2007.
Chiropractors, osteopathic physicians, and some other health care professionals use a technique called spinal manipulation. Practitioners perform spinal manipulation by using their hands or a device to apply a controlled force to a joint of the spine. This technique can provide mild-to-moderate relief from low-back pain and may also be helpful for headaches.
