The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is seeking an exceptional candidate for a staff scientist position within the Pain Neurocircuitry and Cellular Plasticity Laboratory (PNCPL) under the supervision of Principal Investigator Yarimar Carrasquillo, Ph.D.
- Research Fellow Positions: Epidemiology Program [Deadline: November 22, 2024]
NCCIH is seeking exceptional candidates for two research fellow positions within the Epidemiology Program (EP) of the Division of Intramural Research (DIR). The successful candidates would support the mission of the EP, which is to conduct high-impact, high-quality cross-sectional and longitudinal studies to provide a national public health perspective on high-priority topics identified in the NCCIH strategic plan.
- Postdoctoral Fellow Position: Section on Sensory Cells and Circuits, Division of Intramural Research
Dr. Alexander (Alex) Chesler is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow for fully funded research in the Sensory Cells and Circuits Lab to study the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying somatosensation, interoception, and pain.
- Postdoctoral Researcher Positions: Affective Neuroscience and Pain Lab, Division of Intramural Research
Dr. Lauren Atlas’s laboratory is recruiting up to two postdoctoral researchers with expertise in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and affective science to join the Section on Affective Neuroscience and Pain (ANP) to lead new projects on the psychological modulation of pain and emotional experience.
- Clinical Research Fellowship in Translational Pain Medicine
This clinical research fellowship, housed in the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is organized with the goal to provide training and broad experience and skills in human pain research, which would translate into improved diagnostic skills and targeted interventions.
